Getting Tickets Off The Forum and Not Turning Up

I posted a ticket for Blackburn away on the ticket forum and Graham Hammer who mailed me and said he wanted it. I gave him my word the ticket was his and I gave him my number and said I'll be around the ground/pubs by around 11.30am.
Arrived in Blackburn at 11.15 and waited his call ..... I was in the Fenhurst Pub and heard of two blokes who needed a ticket but didn't want to let GH down as I've already said I gave him my word. Low and behold the call never came ....... I found one of the chaps but he had already got sorted. I made it known I had a ticket but to be honest if you was at Blackburn at 1.30 pm you would have had your ticket by then.
So I was lumbered with this ticket , I'm not bothered about the £20 whatsoever what I'm bothered about is the fact that he never even bothered to call to say he didn't want the ticket ...... I who mailed him when I got back and yes you've guessed he's not even had the bottle to even reply let alone apologise.
I hope this is a one-off , I've bought lots of tickets through this forum and made some goods friends through it too to be fair and not heard of any no- shows before.
So you've been warned .... If Graham Hammer asks for a ticket ...get him to send you the dosh first ..,. Or better still tell him to FUCK OFF.

Blatantly got offered a ticket and took it so he didn't have the inconvenience of going over to meet the OP.

Or he could've been killed prior to the game. Which is still cuntish but not quite as cuntish.

Just got two tickets for the Sunderland game from a listee in Denmark... and he knows my Godson (who is also Danish)..talk about a small world

On a better note;
A mate of mine missed the train on Sunday and had our match tickets. The Blackburn TO weren't massively helpful but we were offered 3 tickets by 3 different people who wouldn't take any money for them.
That's what West Ham is all about for me.
Got us in with time to spare and save a lot of stressing.

Porters was the one who came on here with the sob story about being evicted and his family being forced onto the street. Enough money was raised for him and I think it was Peroni who sorted him out a job but he was always late or didn't turn up. I sorted him £300 from the WHO fund on the basis of others vouching for him but he disappeared again after that. Point is, If they're not a regular on here, then they can fuck themselves as far as I'm concerned.

They would say they had an amazing experience dealing with me.

Not surprised at all. There are plenty of cunts out there, never have bought this 'all West Ham fans are wonderful' nonsence. There are always people willing to take advantage of people who are solid and straight down the line, ie proper West Ham people, like Pringle.

I think generally if they're a recognised WHOer you'll be alright.
People who just turn up not so much so.
That's why the WHO fund will only ever go to people on here with a track record.
Well apart from that Porters Avenue prick who rinsed people on here and then stole a small amount of money from the who fund

I've had universally good experiences getting tickets through this forum, although one of the blokes I got a ticket off apparently ripped someone else off, taking the money and not delivering.
It was a bit embarrassing, since I gave an honest account of my business with the bloke when that someone asked about him.
At eight years ago, and my memory's not up to remembering the names.

I had a bloke sell me some tickets for Pompey away (Boxing Day about 10 years ago) so I could take my 7 year old daughter-he knew this too- so I paid him through the bank and the twat didn't send them...didn't answer emails either...got his name (via the a/c details) and afterwards a few listees said he'd done the same to them..I could take it *bites lip* but explaining to my daughter that we weren't going after all was hard...luckily,some lovely bloke on the list gave me two spares...couldn't thank him enough..

I only take payment up front via paypal now.
Also bit of a shame when I have a spare last minute, stick it on here at face, get whomails saying interested and how much, tell them face, then hear nothing back...
